IF you’re looking for multiple pieces of gear and don’t want to go all around to collect them, we’ve just opened a new collection point at 111 North Bridge Road #05-12A (Peninsula Plaza). Well, actually this used to be the equipment at 39 Hongkong street, just relocated to our own cozy corner (literally) of the mall.
Getting here
City Hall MRT is the nearest MRT (3-4min walk) and an interchange between the East West and North South lines. There are also plenty of Bus Services that will take you to the mall, namely Bus no. 2, 12, 32, 33, 51, 63, 80, 147 and 195
Once you’ve arrived, head up the lifts from the ground floor (next to Cathay Photo) and turn right. You’ll see us about 15m away at the corner next to the toilets and cargo lift.
If you’re driving, there is parking available at Capitol Piazza (free on weekdays, 12pm-2pm), the Adelphi and Peninsula Exelsior. We understand that out of these hours, it can be costly and if you’re not returning a whole lot of kit at a peak period, we may be able to come down to the loading bay to collect the items from you as well!
Amenities
Surrounding and within the plaza are a plethora of camera shops. From the most famous Cathay Photo at level 1, SG Camera Store, Black Market Camera and SLR Revolution across the road as well as many other second hand shops like Prime Camera, Camera Workshop and P&G, you will be spoilt for choice if you’re in the market for new kit.
We’ve also been trying out the Burmese cuisine in the mall itself and have some pretty solid recommendations to tingle your taste buds. Be sure to ask our duty team for suggestions if you’re collecting or returning anything at the plaza!
Lastly, ATM’s are plentiful. With POSB/DBS at level 1, OCBC at B1 and UOB across the road, there is no shortage of places to draw/deposit cash or do other banking errands.
